Daylight Saving TimeNov 1 2009 11:08PM
KXMBTV Bismarck Americans fall back today... turning their clocks back one hour. At Walkers and Daughters in the Kirkwood Mall... the clocks stay chiming all day long... but it can be a process to keep some of the clocks on actual time. While some say the time change can mess with their sleep cycle... others say they like the process to ultimately enjoy more daylight. (Erin Gilligan/Bismarck) "At first when I woke up, didn't know what time it was, because every clock in our house has a different time on it so I have to go by my phone as well, probably like most people." (Katie Larson "I love daylight savings time, just because you get the one extra hour and I always wish there were more hours in the day.. It really doesn't affect me too much, the first day I think I can kind of feel it the first day, but after the first night, it's fine." Safety officials stress that it's also a good time to check or change the batteries on your fire or carbon monoxide detectors.
