The newest Judge in the Northwest Judicial District Court is Todd Cresap of Minot.

Governor Hoeven appointed Cresap today at a press conference at the Ward County Court House.

The District where Cresap will be serving along with four other judges includes six counties in Northwest North Dakota.

Cresap's position was one of two judgeships that was established by the Legislature.

The other was in the southeast district.

Governor Hoeven says Cresaps work to this point as an attorney made him the right man for the position.
