CLEVELAND (AP) Officials in Cleveland say the remains of at least 11 victims have been found in the Cleveland home of a sex offender. A skull found in Anthony Sowell's basement belonged to a body that hasn't been found. One victim has been identified as a woman who struggled with drug addiction and frequented the suspect's neighborhood. Dickinson, N.D. (AP) There's an outpouring of grief for three North Dakota college softball players were found dead yesterday inside their sunken S-U-V. Teammates and family members threw roses and softballs into the farm pond where the women died. Officials say no foul play is suspected. WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) A person familiar with the case against former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik says Kerik plans to enter a guilty plea to resolve three pending corruption and fraud trials. The person says the plea deal, expected to be made tomorrow, could send Kerik to prison for around 2 1/2 years. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 11-04-09 1745CST |
