The 2nd ranked Velva Aggies will be at home for the final time this season when they host top rated Watford City in the semi-finals of the class "A" Football playoffs. Both teams come in undefeated on the year and have a rich tradition of playoff success. The Aggies are looking to get back to the Dakota Bowl for the first time in 3 years while the Wolves come in as the defending "AA" champions. The Aggies point to slowing down the Wolves ground game as a key but are wary of the Wolves potent passing attack.

Larry Sandy, Aggies coach:Starts with their running game obviously you know if they can just run the ball that's all they'll do. Any good team if you can just run the ball all the time they'll do it but obviously have a great capacity to throw the ball and the quarterback does a nice job of getting the ball out to the receivers, he's very cool, calm and collective in that pocket and he has the ability to get out of that pocket and create time for himself and throws the ball very well on the run and you've got a ton of receivers you throw the ball to also so you know create a lot of problems with all the talent they have offensively.

Zach Niebuhr, senior:They're the defending class "AA" champs so they've been here before, they know how to win, they've got a good coach and we're just gonna go out and do our best.

Garrett Wible, senior:Battle's gonna be up front and whoever wins that is probably gonna win the game. Both teams we got pretty good backs but they got good backs too but it's more gonna be up in the front.
