Inside The Den 11-4Nov 4 2009 10:45PM
KXMBTV Bismarck but as close as they are, the next time they take the ice...they could be further back? For more on that, lets go 'Inside the Den.' "(Dan Williamson:) They may have split the series with Albert Lea... but the Bismarck Bobcats are now at .500 and closing in on first place, after a three point weekend against the Thunder...and heading into an off weekend (Paul Teeple:) Definetly getting the three points anytime, home or away, the goal is to get as man points as possible and the talk all the way through is that the Central Division is going to be a really, really tight division. Director of Bobcat Broadcasting Paul Teeple isn't kidding Just look at the standings....four teams seperated by eight points Helping the Cats attack is newcomer Ryan Jacobson, he leads the team with 11 goals. (Paul Teeple:) Ryan has been one of the guys that has been really consistant this year and not just putting himself in position to make the play, which has been absolutely a God-send this year for the team so far, but on top of that, he's been hitting the net and going to the net. The Central Division is full of forwards, so whoever comes out on top might do so based on their players at the other positions. (Paul Teeple:) I think the key is going to be defense and goaltending. The Central Division has kind of hung their hat on offense, especially last year, and I don't know if that is going to be any different this year, so it is going to come down to the team with the best defense and best goaltending and right now, the team with the best defense and best goaltending is in Bismarck. " The Cats are next in action on November 13th at Owatonna for the first of six straight road games. Their next home game is Thanksgiving against Alexandria.
