A late night fire damaged a restaurant in Sawyer.

Ward County Sheriff's Deputy Rob ROOD Roed says a fire was reported at the Cowboy Corner Cafe sat about 10:20 Wednesday night.

Roed says the building's interior suffered heavy smoke damage.

There's not immediate dollar estimate of the damage but owners say they hope to have the Cafe up and running as soon as possible.
