There's a new boutique in downtown Minot that you'll want to check out. It's call La Di Da Main Street Boutique owned by Kathy Olson and her daughter Katie. The store will open Wednesday of next week at 122 South Main, and it features a variety of unique gifts and home decor. Plus they carry Vera Bradley purses and bags. Kathy says her daughter moved back to Minot to help her in the store.

Fresh, homemade food is now being served every weekday between 6 and 2, at this new restaurant at 3700 East Burdick Expressway. Its called Oma's, which means Grandma in German. The older building was vacant for a couple of years, so it took some remodeling. Three good friends who grew up together, Cindy, Sheri and Pamela, opened 0ma's recently. The restaurant seats 45 people.

The Greenhouse Cafe in the Main Medical Building re-opened earlier this year as a self- service eating place, but then it closed for a time while a re-modeling project was underway

New owner Tammy Pfau got the restaurant running again this week. She offers a full service menu from 7am until 2pm. She plans to serve a Sunday lunch beginning in a couple of weeks.

Since 2002, Reico Drying and Restoration has been doing business in the area. In fact, they serve 18 area counties providing disaster restoration services. They recently re-located to 1911 2nd Street SE. Owner Len Reinert says this is their dispatch center, plus they have space for education and training.

Space is being remodeled inside the Bricks Building for a new photography studio

Lu Simonson moved to Minot recently and does portrait photography. She's already at work, and should be able to move into her new studio by January.

Congratulations to MLT Vacations, this week they are celebrating 10 years in business in Minot.

In Kenmare, a new business opened a few days ago called Wild Styles Salon and Spa. Owner Denyce Holter offers hair services....also: facials, tanning, manicures, and variety of spa treatments.
