If you're someone not likely to take an answer at face value, one local group says they're looking for people just like you.

Members of the Minot Skeptical Society say they are part of a worldwide moment where people look for scientific or logical answers to problems in the world.

Members of the group include local doctors and professors at Minot State University, but the group is open to anyone looking for a place to discuss ideas.

FoUNDer Dr. Stephen Stripe says a skeptic is someone who wants to see hard facts and evidence before accepting an idea as fact.

The Skeptical Society meets tonight at 7 pm at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Minot. The topic will be "What is Skepticism and Who are Skeptics?"
