The Minot State Volleyball team travels down to Spearfish South Dakota today for the first match of the Dakota Athletic Conference tournament tomorrow against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets. Beaver coach Johnna Lewis is hoping for a successful roadtrip.

(JOHNNA LEWIS)"Ya know we had a tough weekend against Valley City and Jamestown. Both teams played really well, and we haven't been a great traveling team so were hoping to change that this weekend. Against Black Hills their a good team, they have a good middle and a good outside, and a very experienced setter. So were going to try and get them out of system as many times as we can and attack attack attack."


(KARA SCHUMACHER)"I think the game against Black Hills on Saturday will be a good game. We have to come out strong, we can't come out flat or anything. Last time we played them we went to five so hopefully we can stick with them and hopefully pull a win off."


(MOLLY LUNDEEN)"Black Hills has a very strong all around team, so to come out and get that win were going to have to come out and play hard were going to put up a big block. We're going to have to play some good defense, serve aggressively.
