KXMCTV Minot Everything from wind to coal to oil...North Dakota has what it takes to power a nation. But with pending climate change legislation, will North Dakota continue to stay at the top? Senator Byron Dorgan is holding an energy expo in Bismarck this week. Dorgan says before an energy or climate change bill can move forward, the targets and timetables need to be worked out. He says when this happens, such a bill will unlock many possibilities for the states economy and workforce. (Sen. Byron Dorgan/ D-ND) "If you look back in the rear view mirror ten years fron now to today whti is the foundation because no state no state in the country has great capabilities to produce more and different kinds of energy in North Dakota and we don't need to produce it for ourselves because we have plenty of energy for our use..we produce it for others."
