They lost just once in conference play, and because of that, Bismarck High's Volleyball team has the top seed in the upcoming West Region Tournament in Dickinson.



The Demons tied with Century for the top spot, but BHS has the tie-breaker.

Coaches say they have seen a steady improvement out of their club, and that they have yet to peak.

"(Jessica Andersen:) We are definetly playing some of the best volleyball that we have played right now, but we still have somethings that we are not satisfied with that we are working on fixing and I think the girls have really come together and they are excited.

(Annie Assel:) We are excited, but we are also taking it as a new season and we are not taking anyone lightly because we know that have improved just as much as we have. "




The Demons will match-up with Mandan in the opener on Thursday, which is set for 3:00 p.m. central time.

Afterwards, its Dickinson and Williston at 4:00 mountain time.

The quarterfinals wrap up with Century and Minot at 7:00 central, and St. Mary's and Jamestown in the late contest. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
