Hezbollah leader lashes out at ObamaNov 11 2009 1:25PM
Associated Press AP Photo BEI104, BEI106, BEI103, BEI101, BEI102, BEI105 BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) Hezbollah's leader is accusing President Barack Obama of absolute bias in favor of Israel and disregard for the dignity of Arabs and Muslims. Sheik Hassan Nasrallah says Obama has gone even farther in his military support for the Jewish state than his predecessor, George W. Bush. Nasrallah's remarks are his strongest criticism yet of the American president since Obama took office almost a year ago. He said Obama's earlier statements calling on Israel to freeze settlement building and then going back on that demand was a "tactic" agreed on by both Israel and the U.S. In a speech broadcast Wednesday, Nasrallah says it was "an American ploy to pass the time and gain Arab sympathy."
