Oilers LW Reddox knocked out of gameNov 11 2009 8:46PM
Associated Press BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Edmonton left wing Liam Reddox was knocked out of the oilers game against Buffalo when he was rammed headfirst into the boards by Clarke MacArthur late in the third period. Reddox went after a loose puck along the left boards in the Oilers end when MacArthur leaned into him. The two appeared to lose balance, before Reddox slammed into the boards. He was on the ice for a couple minutes, and was helped off after a 5-minute delay. He needed assistance heading into the Edmonton locker room. MacArthur drew a 5-minute major boarding penalty and a game misconduct. Reddox was playing in just his third game of the season. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
