VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) State titles in nine-man prep football will be decided in a trio of games Friday in the DakotaDome in Vermillion.

The 11 a.m. game features defending state champion Avon against Hanson for the Class 9A title.

Howard and Emery-Ethan meet for the Class 9AA title at 2:30.

The evening game pits Dell Rapids St. Mary against Hitchcock-Tulare in Class 9B. Hitchcock-Tulare was state runner-up a year ago.

Avon and Hitchcock-Tulare are both unbeaten this year.
