KIEL, Wis. (AP) From Wisconsin and Indiana to Oklahoma and Utah, friends and relatives of troops gunned down in the Fort Hood massacre paid last respects today. During services in Norman, Okla., snapshots from Army Spc. Jason Dean Hunt's recent wedding were projected near his casket.

WOODBINE, N.J. (AP) A small plane has crashed in southern New Jersey, killing a father and son headed to Indiana for a hunting trip. The plane went down shortly after taking off this morning about 20 miles southwest of Atlantic City. The crash killed the 53-year-old pilot and his 12-year-old son.

Washington (AP) A top official at the agency that oversees Medicare says overall health care spending would rise as a result of legislation approved by the House. Richard Foster also says in his study that billions of dollars in projected savings contained in the measure will be difficult to realize.

SINGAPORE President Barack Obama is in Singapore for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. While there, he will hold several private meetings, including one with Indonesia's Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SOO'-see-loh BAM'-bang yoo-doo-YOH'-noh), president of the world's largest Muslim nation and the country where Obama lived as a boy.

SAN DIEGO (AP) Federal Housing Administration Commissioner David Stevens says concerns that the agency is headed for the same financial trouble that snared Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the subprime sector are unwarranted. Just days ago the FHA revealed that its financial reserves have fallen to a dangerously low level.
