Sikich LLP Adds Jennifer Wood as Senior Tax Manager ROCKFORD, IL (Marketwire) 11/17/09 Jennifer Wood has joined Sikich LLP. Wood will be responsible for serving clients with a variety of tax planning needs.

Wood has extensive experience in utilizing tax planning strategies for privately held businesses and their owners. She often leads tax compliance and consulting engagements which result in significant permanent savings for clients.

Wood has extensive accounting experience working in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate and service industries with specializations in tax planning and consulting including mergers and acquisitions, tax credit identification, international, multi-state and local tax planning. She has also overseen the preparation of corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns concentrating on using all current income tax laws to minimize tax to all entities and shareholders.

Wood received her accounting degree from Northern Illinois University. In addition to her practice in public accounting, she has served as a resource to legislators on pending tax legislation and is a frequent presenter of tax planning opportunities to professional organizations.
