OSHA to investigate construction deathNov 19 2009 9:41AM
Associated Press DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. (AP) The Occupational Safety and Health Administration area office in Bismarck, N.D., says it will investigate a death at a construction site in southeastern South Dakota. The probe will determine whether negligence contributed to the death of 27-year-old Gabe Koenigsfeld. Authorities say Koenigsfeld died Tuesday morning when an embankment caved in on him at the work site in Dakota Dunes, just south of Sioux Falls. Koenigsfeld worked for J&J Concrete Inc., based in Tea. Family members say he and his wife, Stephanie, were expecting their first child. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
