KXMCTV Minot People's State Bank will open the doors of its new building near Walmart, tomorrow. People's State has been in business for 90 years, serving the Velva community. The bank has expanded to Minot, and according to President Dennis Pederson the goal is to keep the small town friendliness in this new Minot bank. Construction work began this week on an addition for John's Autobody at 4121 South Broadway. Owner John Erickson says he is benefiting from all the growth and activity in Minot, these days. The addition will give him more space for fixing vehicles. For 10 years, Dawa Solutions Group has been in business, doing professional development, things like graphic design and web development. It was started in Minneapolis by Minot native Jeff Zarling, who moved it to Williston in 2002 to be closer to friends and relatives. Recently, Dawa Solutions opened a small office in Minot to work with cusomers here. In Garrison, Garrison ATA Fitness opened its doors recently. Owners Vickie and Roland Frothinger offer martial arts classes for people of all ages. They moved to Garrison recently and rennovated this building into a studio. In Parshall, a new restaurant called CJ's opened this week. The Parshall Development Corporation owns the building. Pete Coffey and his family took over the maagement of it, and named it CJ's after his brother, who is an experienced chef. For Business Beat I'm Carla Burbidge
