Jurors sentence Rodriguez to death for killing of Dru SjodinSep 22 2006 11:33AM
Associated Press Fargo, N.D. (AP) Jurors have decided Alfonso Rodriguez Junior should get the death penalty for killng University of North Dakota student Dru Sjodin. The jury of seven women and five men announced their verdict this morning. They met for about an hour-and-a-half this morning after a full day yesterday and for about three-and-one-half hours the day before. Rodriguez was convicted last month of kidnapping resulting in the death of Sjodin. It's the first death penalty case in North Dakota in nearly 100 years. (Copyright 2006 by The Associated Press. it is about time justice was served, maybe people like this will think twice before committing crimes like this again in N D.

I just hope it will not take another 15 years before he is executed. It should be next week.
