Montana-MONTANA ST 109th meeting of Bobcat-Grizzly Football BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) The Montana Grizzlies will be working to preserve an unbeaten regular season while the Montana State Bobcats will be making a case for a playoff spot when the two teams clash for the 109th time.

Montana, which is ranked first in the Football Championship Subdivision coaches Poll and third in The Sports Network poll, takes on 23rd-ranked Montana State on Saturday. The game kicks off shortly after noon, in Bozeman.

Griz coach Bobby Hauck says he hopes this year's team can become the fifth in school history to post an unbeaten regular-season record. The last team to do so was the 2007 Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, the Bobcats know a win ends a three-game losing streak to the Griz, and gives the Bobcats at least a chance to make the playoffs.

MSU coach Rob Ash says getting the Bobcats into the playoffs is one thing he and his staff have wanted to do since coming to Montana State.

Boise State added another touchdown barely 2 minutes into the third quarter and what was a close game for about 25 minutes turned into the rout it was expected to be.
