MONTREAL (AP) A woman in Canada says she's going to fight an insurance company's decision to cut her benefits based on pictures her insurance agent found on Facebook.

The pictures showed the woman vacationing, at a bar and at a party at a time when she was getting monthly sick-leave benefits.

Nathalie Blanchard says she had been diagnosed with major depression, and that she was getting the monthly benefits until the payments came to a stop. She says when she called her insurance provider (Manulife), she was told the Facebook photos showed that she was still able to work.

Her lawyer says Blanchard was wrongfully denied her benefits, and that she had the right to go on a sunny vacation.

He says her doctor recommended it and that the insurance company can't stop the disability benefits without taking that into account.
