Associated Press MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (AP) Traditional three-day Hmong funeral services begin Saturday to honor a 23-year-old St. Paul soldier killed in the shootings at Fort Hood. Visitation for Pfc. Kham Xiong (KAHM ZHONG) starts Saturday morning at the Legacy Funeral Home in Maplewood and runs through Monday afternoon. Xiong will then be buried with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Xiong is survived by his wife, Shoua Her, three children, his father and mother, and many other relatives. He was one of 13 people killed in the attack at the Army post in Texas. He was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. Sen. Amy Klobuchar's office says she'll announce at the funeral Saturday that Xiong will get honorary posthumous U.S. citizenship. He came to the U.S. as a young child.
