Associated Press LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) Levi Brown threw three touchdown passes as Troy squandered an early lead, then came from behind to beat Louisiana-Lafayette 48-31 on Saturday night. Shawn Southward ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns for the Trojans (9-3, 8-0 Sun Belt Conference), who locked up the league's automatic berth in the New Orleans Bowl. Troy has won or shared the Sun Belt title the last four years. Brown had a pair of fourth-quarter scoring passes, a 14-yarder to Tebiarus Gill and a 26-yarder to Jerrel Jernigan, to key a 17-point Troy run after Louisiana-Lafayette (6-6, 4-4) scored 25 unanswered points to lead 25-24. Brown was 20-for-31 for 293 yards, becoming the Sun Belt's single-season record holder with 3,868 yards. Troy's Bryan Willis returned an onside kick 38 yards for a touchdown with 2:10 left.
