Juror in Rodriguez Case Talks About ExperienceSep 23 2006 11:39PM
KXMCTV Minot Jurors in the case decided yesterday that the man who kidnapped and killed Dru Sjodin should die for his crime. But, according to one juror, it was not an easy decision to make. The juror, who didn't want his identity disclosed, says he felt the group was in a very difficult, even unfair, position in deciding Rodriguez's fate. (Unidentified Rodriguez Juror) "You know to pull twelve people off the street, never met him, never met her, and I gotta make the final decision, to me it's not right. I realize that's the way it is and that's the way it's gotta be but, I wish the system was different somehow." The attorney for Rodriguez says he will request a new trial in the case, and if that's not granted, will appeal the death sentence.
