Relative: cop killing senseless...Woods mystery remains

GRAHAM, Wash. (AP) The sister-in-law of one of the four Washington state police officers gunned down Sunday at a coffee shop says his death was senseless. Authorities are looking for a man they say is a person of interest. About 200 people attended a vigil Sunday for the slain officers.

WINDERMERE, Fla. (AP) Tiger Woods still hasn't done anything to clear up the mystery surrounding his late night car accident near his Florida home. He canceled a talk with state police and a statement on his web site says only that he takes the blame for an "embarrassing" incident.

NEW YORK (AP) The holiday shopping focus has shifted to the online promotions known as Cyber Monday, as well getting people to come back and shop more. Retailers have taken some mild encouragement from the first big holiday shopping weekend. Online sales got a big weekend boost thanks to early promotions.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) One of Iran's vice presidents says Tehran needed to send a strong message to Western critics of its nuclear enrichment program and that new plans to build 10 new facilities is it. Ali Akbar Salehi tells state radio that Iran had no intention of building 10 uranium enrichment facilities until it was criticized by the U.N. nuclear watchdog.

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) The death toll from the capsizing of a ferry over the weekend in southern Bangladesh is 72. Rescuers recovered an additional 14 bodies Monday less than a mile from the site of the accident.
