Bush, Greer inactive vs. PatriotsNov 30 2009 7:22PM
Associated Press NEW ORLEANS (AP) The New Orleans Saints deactivated running back Reggie Bush and starting cornerback Jabari Greer for Monday night's game against the New England Patriots. Bush also missed the Saints' previous game with left knee swelling. Greer, replaced by Randall Gay, has missed three games with a pulled left groin. Receiver Lance Moore and fullback Kyle Eckel also were among New Orleans' inactive players. Moore's left ankle injury has sidelined him for a month. Eckel has not been on the Saints' injury report. Patriots cornerback Shawn Springs was inactive for the third straight week despite practicing the past two weeks. New England's other inactive players included running back Fred Taylor (right ankle) and linebacker Junior Seau. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 11-30-09 1918CST |
