Dru Sjodin's dad remembers his daughter on what would have been her 25th birthday, Tuesday.

Dru disappeared almost three years ago from a mall parking lot in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Her body was found about five months later in a ravine.

Alfonso Rodriguez Junior of Crookston, Minnesota, has been sentenced to death for kidnapping resulting in her death.

(Allan Sjodin/Dru's dad): "Celebrate the day for what it is, it's a beautiful day and Dru will always be in my mind and everyone's mind and in our hearts and I think we need to continue in that way and not be overcome by all the ugliness of it."
