ALBANY, Minn. (AP) Wet snow has caused part of the roof of an Albany School District garage to collapse, damaging seven school buses and three vans inside. Superintendent Scott Thielman hopes the vehicles can be repaired by Jan. 4 when students return from vacation.

Information from: KARE-TV, http://www.kare11.com MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton says he's struggled with mild depression for years and relapsed in his recovery from alcoholism while serving in the U.S.

Senate. Dayton e-mailed supporters to point out a column in the Star Tribune which first reported the information. He says people have a right to know about the "deeply personal matters" as he campaigns for governor.

WABSAHA, Minn. (AP) A Wabasha County deputy suffered two broken legs when a stolen vehicle collided head-on with his squad car. Sheriff Rodney Bartsh says the suspect was driving a car that had just been reported stolen, and was trying to pass another vehicle when he hit Deputy Andrew Hamman's vehicle. Both the deputy and the suspect were taken to a Rochester hospital with serious injuries.

NEWPORT, Minn. (AP) A 55-year-old St. Paul man remains jailed after his 18th arrest on drunken driving charges. The State Patrol says he crashed his car on Highway 61 and Interstate 494 in Newport. Capt. Matt Langer says the driver's last DWI conviction was nine years ago.
