(AP) A Wabasha County deputy suffered two broken legs when a stolen vehicle collided head-on with his squad car. Sheriff Rodney Bartsh says the suspect was driving a car that had just been reported stolen, and was trying to pass another vehicle when he hit Deputy Andrew Hamman's vehicle. Both the deputy and the suspect were taken to a Rochester hospital with serious injuries. NEWPORT, Minn. (AP) A 55-year-old St. Paul man remains jailed after his 18th arrest on drunken driving charges. The State Patrol says he crashed his car on Highway 61 and Interstate 494 in Newport. Capt.
