BODY FOUND-MINNESOTA Woman's body found in southwestern Minnesota SLAYTON, Minn. (AP) A snowplow driver in southwestern Minnesota's Murray County found the body of a woman who apparently walked away from her SUV after driving it off the road this week.

The Independent of Marshall reports the body of 69-year-old Loa Jean Jenson of Garvin was found Monday on 211th Street, just east of Highway 59.

The Murray County Sheriff's Department says Jenson drove her 1992 Chevy Suburban off the road sometime late Sunday or early Monday and tried to walk toward Highway 59.

No further information was available and an autopsy is pending.

Minneapolis police Sgt. Jesse Garcia says the man was directing a train into a building at the railyard east of East River Road when the train slipped off the track. The man became pinned between the car and the building.

His name has not been released.

Tahisha Williams-Brewer of Minneapolis seeks unspecified damages.

According to the lawsuit this month, the May incident started when a staff member at Creekview Park told her 12-year-old son, "You're gay." Words were exchanged the staff member told the boy to leave.

The lawsuit says as the boy was leaving, officers Keith Rowland and James Cannon arrived and told the boy to leave. It says one then forcefully twisted the boy's arm and pulled it behind his back.

The boy allegedly heard his arm snap and suffered four fractures.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board says there are many inaccuracies in the complaint, and that proper police procedures were followed. The board says it's confident the facts will show the police acted appropriately.

ILLEGAL Walleye FISHING 4 Wisconsin anglers cited for 40 extra walleyes Red Lake, Minn. (AP) Four Wisconsin anglers face a total of $3,600 in fines for allegedly keeping 40 walleyes over the limit while fishing on Minnesota's Upper Red Lake.

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officer Brice Vollbrecht says that on Dec. 23, he questioned the anglers and grew suspicious about the number of walleyes they had.

The possession limit for Upper Red Lake walleyes is four.

Anglers are required to throw back walleyes between 17 and 26 inches. One trophy more than 26 inches is allowed.

Vollbrecht tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press he found 44 filleted and wrapped walleyes in the anglers' rented cabin, in addition to 12 walleyes in their fish houses. Some fish were outside the legal length limit.

Vollbrecht says the anglers admitted they knew the law, but took more fish because they drove such a long distance from Wisconsin to northwestern Minnesota.

Information from: St. Paul Pioneer Press, http://www.twincities.com HECKER-E-MAILS Hecker wants judge to help him keep files private MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Bankrupt auto magnate Denny Hecker wants a U.S. district judge to help him recover a disk containing thousands of e-mails he says are private.

Hecker says the 30,000 e-mails sent to or from him are covered by attorney-client privilege.

The 57-year-old was once one of Minnesota's largest car dealers.

He reportedly owes $767 million to creditors, including Chrysler Financial Services and banks around the country.

A bankruptcy judge denied his request to get the disk back from attorneys for Chrysler Financial. Hecker wants a higher court to overturn that ruling.

The Star Tribune reports that Chrysler Financial got the files through a subpoena of Hecker's former executive assistant. She was routinely copied on many e-mails to and from her boss.

Information from: Star Tribune, http://www.startribune.com APPEALS COURT-MARINE KILLED Dad of slain Marine not entitled to death benefits ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Court of Appeals says the father of a Marine killed in Iraq is not entitled to a share of death benefits that went to his mother.

The Appeals Court said Tuesday that Levi Angell, of Cloquet, had designated his mother as the sole beneficiary of his military life insurance policy and a related federal death benefit. The 20-year-old lance corporal was killed in combat in 2004. His mother received just over $500,000.

His parents, Gordon and Loretta Angell, divorced last year, and a lower court awarded $150,000 of those benefits to the Marine's father. He's 67, has no savings or pension and lives on Social Security.

The appeals court says federal law prevents courts from dividing military death benefits when one parent is the sole beneficiary.

HIGH-SPEED RAIL Plans evolve for high-speed rail from Minn to Ill.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) Plans continue to evolve for a high-speed rail line from the Twin Cities to Chicago, as Minnesota officials study possible routes the rail could follow.

The state Department of Transportation is expected to release a report this week discussing sites that can be possible stops. The report will name several rail corridors that have been chosen for additional environmental analysis.

One option is expected to include a corridor through Rochester.

Other possibilities could include a "river route" along the Mississippi River through Winona; an Eau Claire, Wis., corridor; and a route on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi.

The Rochester Post-Bulletin says the report won't pick one route over another. Instead it will simply list several priority routes.

Information from: Post-Bulletin, http://www.postbulletin.com WCAL-ST OLAF Appeals court lets sale of WCAL to MPR stand ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Court of Appeals has let stand the sale by St. Olaf College of its radio station to Minnesota Public Radio.

The appeals court said Tuesday that a lower court did not abuse its discretion when it ruled against a group of WCAL listeners. The group, SaveWCAL, opposed the 2004 sale of the classical music station to MPR, which turned it into an alternative rock station known as The Current.

SaveWCAL had argued that donors had contributed millions of dollars to support WCAL. And it contended the act of making these donations created a charitable trust that St. Olaf and MPR could not breach, so the sale should be declared void.

But the lower court concluded that WCAL was not a charitable trust, but rather an asset of St. Olaf, and that SaveWCAL had waited too long to try to overturn the sale.
