We have an update on Bismarck's Fitterer twins including some new pictures!

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, reports Abbygail and Madysen have been upgraded to fair condition.

Madysen is on the left, and Abbygail is on the right.

The girls are the daughters of Stacy and Suzy Fitterer.

They were born joined at the chest, and shared their front chest wall.

Abbygail and Madysen were separated at the beginning of January.

They were five months old at the time.

These pictures were taken exactly four weeks after their surgery.

Today, they no longer have breathing tubes their ventilators were removed earlier this week.

The Mayo Clinic reports the girls are breathing without help and continue their gradual, steady recovery. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
