Bismarck conjoined twins who were surgically separated in January are coming home soon.

Abygail and Madysen Fitterer will be discharged this week from Mayo Children's Hospital, and will return home to Bismarck with their parents, Stacy and Suzy, and their brother, Nicholas.

Mom and Dad say they are grateful for the care their girls have received, and for the support of the extended community. While the hospital portion of their recovery is concluding, Suzy says concerns about the consequences of infection mean Abygail and Madysen aren't yet ready for visitors.

Suzy says that, when the time is right, they look forward to introducing them to the people in the community who have been so supportive. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
