KXMBTV Bismarck They are hoping to convince Blue Cross Blue Shield CEO, Paul Von Ebers to sign a pledge to end what they call abusive health insurance practices. They also hope he will sign the pledge to support health care reform. Bonnie Torrance, who has been living without health insurance for years because of a pre-existing medical condition, says its time for things to change. (Bonnie Torrance/Bismarck)"Insurance companies are the problem. They need to take responsibility. Its about profit in their companies. We need a public option." The groups marching to the Blue Cross Blue Shield offices chose today because it's part of a national day of action called "Big Insurance: Sick of It".
