Thanks to successful fundraising efforts, local rotary clubs are sending six ShelterBoxes to Haiti.

The Minot Sunrise and Noon Rotary Clubs collected a total of $6,000 to sponsor the boxes, which include emergency shelter and humanitarian items for earthquake survivors.

Each ShelterBox provides shelter for an extended family of ten.

Local efforts make up part of a national push to send more than 3,000 ShelterBoxes to help with disaster relief in Haiti. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
