Associated Press FREDONIA, N.D. (AP) A Kulm woman is accused of stealing money from the post office in the southeastern North Dakota town of Fredonia when she worked there. Kathleen Jacobson allegedly embezzled money from the sale of postage stamps and issued herself money orders without always paying for them. She's charged with theft of government property and could face up to a year in prison if convicted. Federal prosecutor Scott Schneider says the alleged thefts between July 2006 and October 2007 were discovered during a routine audit. Jacobson is due in federal court in Bismarck on Monday.
