ND atty gen: Fargo officials broke records lawJul 1 2008 2:14PM
Associated Press Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says Fargo school and park officials broke North Dakota's open records law. The officials represent Fargo's school and park districts on the board of directors of the Metro Sports Foundation. The foundation is building a $25 million Hockey arena, and Fargo's public schools will be among the main users of the arena. Stenehjem says park district finance director Jim Larson, school activities director Ed Lockwood and school business manager Dan Huffman have to turn over e-mails about the project. The men have provided e-mails from their work computers. Stenehjem says e-mails on their home computers are also public records. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
