A presidential candidate will soon have an office in Bismarck. Democrat Barack Obama has hired a North Dakota campaign director, and he's opening a presidential campaign office in Bismarck this week

A campaign spokeswoman says the office is having a grand opening celebration tomorrow night.Obama aide Anita Decker is taking the job of North Dakota campaign director. Decker now works on Obama's U.S. Senate staff in Illinois

Obama has visited Grand Forks and Fargo so far this year, and he's promising an effort to try to carry North Dakota's three electoral votes
