Jennifer Hudson's mom, brother slain in Chicago; police questioning suspect, look for nephew

CHICAGO (AP) The man suspected in the shooting deaths of the mother and brother of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is reportedly in police custody.

But law enforcement sources tell the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times the singer's missing nephew has still not been found.

The newspapers report that 27-year-old William Balfour is being questioned but has not been charged with any crime. Police say 7-year-old Julian King's whereabouts are still unknown.

An Amber Alert issued Friday says Balfour is a suspect in the double homicide of 57-year-old Darnell Donerson and 29-year-old Jason Hudson. Their bodies were found Friday afternoon in a South Side home.

Hudson recently said in an AP interview her family helped to keep her grounded.
