54-year-old man dies in wreck near Plains

PLAINS, Mont. (AP) Authorities say a 54-year old man was killed this week when he lost control of his truck on Montana 200 near Plains.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the Plains man was westbound on an uphill curve near mile marker 77 early Thursday when his truck drifted off the shoulder of the road.

The driver, whose name has not been released, overcorrected and crossed back over two lanes of traffic before his vehicle struck several trees and overturned. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
