Associated Press SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) The shooting of a bald eagle in the extreme northeast part of South Dakota is under investigation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the state Department of Game, Fish and Parks are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Authorities said the immature bald eagle was shot northeast of Rosholt and had to be euthanized. Three other shootings of bald eagles and golden eagles have been reported in an area generally north of Huron since late November.
