BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Rocky Mountain College Football coach David Reeves has announced the signing of five incoming freshmen.

The recruits include defensive lineman Patrick Lawler of Billings West, cornerback Josh Graham of Big Timber and wide receiver Shade Theriault of Townsend. The out-of-state recruits are defensive back Elliot Lindley of University High School in Spokane, Wash., and defensive back Ridge Fuentes of Lewiston, Idaho.

Walker, who played volleyball at Montana State-Northern from 2002-2005 and was an assistant for the Skylights in 2006, has also coached one season at Big Sandy.

(AP) An effort to revive the Meet of Champions track meet did not draw as much interest as organizers hoped and entries are still being accepted for tonight's meet in Butte. Liza Dennehy, the cross country coach at Butte High, says the meet will be run as an all-comers meet for high school students, including incoming freshmen, start at 6 p.m. Entries will be taken at the track until 5:30 p.m.

(AP) Former Montana State women's Basketball player Mara Hoefer has signed to play professional basketball in her native Germany. Hoefer signed with BBV Leipzig, which plays in the German second league. BBV Leipzig coach Ritz Ingram says Hoefer has solid post moves and works hard. Hoefer averaged 5.5 points and 2.7 rebounds as a senior.
