KXMCTV Minot Shear Sports, opened this week in the Praire Rose Plaza on Broadway. Its a full salon, with two tanning beds, and a message therapist. Owner Joshua Blackaby, has created a sports atmosphere. There's a pool table, a high definition TV, and you can even have a free beer as you wait for a hair cut. Prairie Federal, on South Broadway, is in the midst of a remodeling project which includes a new lobby, and changing the drive thru lanes. In fact, they've closed down the drive thru during construction. For the next four months, a fish house is serving as their temporary drive-thru. Blake Krabseth is the new sales manager at Watne Realtors..he's been with Watne 5 years.......that from Claire Watne, the President of the company. If you want to be creative with the pictures you've taken, check out the new kiosk in Image Outback, in the lobby of 360 Digitography on South Broadway. Owner Kim Whittemore says customers can create their own calenders, cards or other products. In Garrison, Garrison Equipment was purchased by two men who have been a part of the company for many years. Duane Hummel and Terry Metz took over in May and renamed it Lakeside Machinery. They do repair work, as well as carry the Acgo and Gleaner line of machinery as well as the Cub Cadet line of garden equipment. In Newburg, a new business in the Newburg mall opened in May, called Pamela's Pretty Things. Pam Hammond is selling her hand-made jewelry, plus party items, and candles.
