Tornado warning issued for northeastern ND county

Grand Forks, N.D. (AP) The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Tornado warning for southeastern Towner County in northeast North Dakota.

The warning is in effect until 3:15 p.m.

The weather service said it received a report at 2:46 p.m. of a tornado about five miles north of Cando and moving southeast at 20 mph.

Those in the area are advised to take cover.
