MINNEAPOLIS (AP) A recall of products from Plainview Milk Products Cooperative has hit another Minnesota company. Minneapolis-based Malt-O-Meal is voluntarily recalling certain oatmeal products that contain instant non-fat dry milk from Plainview that's suspected of being contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. MAHNOMEN, Minn. (AP) One of the two men accused in the shooting of a Minnesota sheriff's deputy last February has reached a plea deal that includes testifying against the alleged shooter. Twenty-seven-year-old Daniel Vernier pleaded guilty to a single charge and had 16 others dropped. Mahnomen (muh-NOH'-min) County Deputy Chris Dewey remains hospitalized. NEW YORK (AP) Baseball fans can mark their calendars for April 12th.
