Associated Press Watford City, N.D. (AP) Increased activity in North Dakota's oil patch means an increase in the need for housing. Fargo-based Lutheran Social Services Housing will build one of two housing projects scheduled for construction in the McKenzie County community of Watford City. Valley City, N.D. (AP) Authorities say the body of a 21-year-old woman who disappeared while swimming in Lake Ashtabula resurfaced yesterday morning. Barnes County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Mark Peterson says Andrea Rose Arbuckle's body was found near where she had been swimming last week. Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Construction is under way on a nuclear submarine that will be named for the state of North Dakota. Funds are being raised to help pay the way for veterans to see the USS North Dakota. Sen. Byron Dorgan, who led the effort for the Navy to name a sub after the state, says the vessel will have cutting-edge technology. CARPIO, N.D. (AP) A solar-powered greenhouse being planned in Carpio not only will produce organic plants and vegetables it also will provide research for students and faculty members at Minot State University-Bottineau. The school's Entrepreneurial Center for Horticulture gave a $20,000 grant to Marvin and Ilene Baker, who do business as North Star Farms. The greenhouse is expected to be finished next month.
