Associated Press BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) A North Dakota advisory board financed by money from a state lawsuit settlement against tobacco companies is outlining its plans today to cut tobacco use in the state. The proposal is likely to include suggestions for raising North Dakota's tobacco tax, and a ban on smoking in bars. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) State Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle (GET'-uhl) is to present Bismarck State College with a $200,000 state grant today. The money is to support the school's energy-related work force training programs. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) North Dakota's annual collection of unusable pesticides is getting under way. The Agriculture Department's Project Safe Send program begins today in Casselton, and then moves on to 14 other cities before wrapping up July 23 in Napoleon. Fargo, N.D. (AP) A Fargo South High School senior this coming fall achieved a perfect score on the ACT college entrance exam. Seventeen-year-old Matthew Budke says he was stunned when he learned the results.
