Associated Press Fargo, N.D. (AP) Fargo police evacuated the area around an apartment building where a man was believed holed up with a number of guns. The man's son tells Fargo's KFGO radio that his father recently had been evicted. Police say they got a report this morning of a man in the hallway of the apartment building making threats with a shotgun. McClusky, N.D. (AP) A McClusky man has been hospitalized after being shot in the abdomen and his uncle is in custody. A Sheridan County sheriff says 51-year-old Bradley Roth (ROETH) was arrested at the scene of the shooting in the central North Dakota town. He faces an attempted murder charge. The condition of the nephew, Joshua Zeeb, wasn't known. Bismarck, N.D. (AP) North Dakota regulators have approved a new wind farm in Griggs and Steele counties saying most of the proposed wind towers will be far enough away from homes to meet federal noise guidelines. One of the 80 wind tower locations, however, will have to be changed because it's too close to a rural bed and breakfast business near Luverne. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) Sen. Byron Dorgan says the parent company of the JLG Industries, Inc., plant in Oakes is taking a look at keeping the facility open. Dorgan says he told Oshkosh officials that the jobs in Oakes are important. JLG announced last month that the plant would be shut down by September as part of a restructuring move.
