Bearcreek teen dies in crash near Red LodgeJul 8 2009 10:38PM
Associated Press BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Authorities say an 18-year-old Bearcreek man is dead after a one-vehicle rollover accident east of Red Lodge. The Montana Highway Patrol says the man, whose name has not been released, was driving an SUV on secondary Highway 308 between Red Lodge and Belfry when the vehicle drifted off the road just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The man overcorrected and the SUV crossed over both lanes of traffic before rolling. The victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was taken to a hospital in Red Lodge, where he was pronounced dead. The Highway Patrol says alcohol was not involved, but it is unclear if speed played a role.
