Associated Press KABUL (AP) At least 16 are dead, according to NATO, after a civilian helicopter crash at a NATO base in southern Afghanistan. Military officials say there are five more casualties, but it's not clear what condition they're in. NATO says no military personnel were hurt or killed. TEHRAN,Iran (AP) Hard-line supporters of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (ah-muh-DEE'-neh-zhahd) are criticizing him. On Friday, he appointed a vice president (Esfandiar Rahim Mashai) who last year angered hard-liners by saying Iranians were "friends of all people in the world even Israelis." Today, an aide to Iran's supreme leader said the appointment caused "a wave of surprise" and concern. Washington (AP) Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is calling the Obama administration's health care overhaul "a work in progress." On NBC's "Meet the Press," Sebelius says the president remains committed to providing health care for all Americans, but the she's waiting to see the final version of legislation Congress produces. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Investigators are looking at mechanical and human errors as possible causes of a collision between two San Francisco light-rail trains yesterday. Officials say 48 people were taken to hospitals, four with what appeared to be severe injuries. ROMANO CANAVESE, Italy (AP) Even with his right arm in a cast, the pope was able to make the sign of the cross with ease. Two days after breaking his wrist in a fall, Benedict told a crowd in a small Italian town, his "mobility is a bit limited," but, he says, the presence of his heart is full.
