St. Francis man pleads to killing White River manJul 25 2009 5:44PM
Associated Press PIERRE, S.D. (AP) A 24-year-old St. Francis man has acknowledged that he drove negligently and killed a White River man. Erick Eisenbraun pleaded guilty in federal court in Pierre to involuntary manslaughter for the May 2 death of William Stands, who was walking in the ditch. The accident happened on U.S. Highway 18 in Todd County on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. The charge carries a maximum punishment of eight years in prison. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
