Associated Press SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) A Nov. 9 trial date has been scheduled for a man charged in the drunk-driving crash that killed Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others. Orange County Superior Court Judge Richard Toohey on Friday also scheduled a Sept. 11 pretrial hearing for Andrew Thomas Gallo. Gallo is charged with three counts of second-degree murder, three other felonies and one misdemeanor. He is accused of driving his minivan while intoxicated through a red light in Fullerton on April 9 and broadsiding a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Killed along with Adenhart were driver Courtney Stewart and Henry Pearson. Another passenger, Jon Wilhite, was seriously injured.
